Virtual Race Night on Zoom - Charity Fundraiser

Please join us on Zoom for an 'adults only' race night for Charity fundraising on Friday 17th February 2023 .  This is a Horse Race Night but not a normal horse race night - its horse racing fundeo-style!  We are opening the doors at 18:45 for an expected start at 7pm and we expect to finish at about 9:15 pm. There will be 10 races each with 8 horses.  

Get in the refreshments and note the date in your diary!

Put the date in your diary and get the refreshments in for a great fun night at home - alone or with friends and family.  You will be watching the racing on Zoom using your computer and buying virtual tote tickets online from our 'Shop' using your mobile phone. Please use the 'Contact Organiser' link to request an your invite to the Zoom meeting and I will keep you informed. 

Please register on 'Do Virtual' to purchase from our 'Shop'

Everyone wishing to participate in our virtual race night must register on 'Do-Virtual'.  This will let you make purchases with a virtual wallet which you will find in your account dashboard.  Using the wallet avoids bank charges with every transaction. Please navigate as follows: 'My Wallet' > 'Manage Wallet Amount' to purchase virtual cash funds.  Any prizes you win will be paid directly into your wallet during the event. You can top it up at any time and cash in by having funds transferred to your bank.

Bidding is now open for the horses in the last race!

The last race will be an auction race with each of the 8 horses sold to the highest bidder who will become the 'owner'. The auctions are online here in our 'Shop' and the bidding is now open!  Auctions will finish automatically just before the last race starts. The owner of the winning horse will receive a grand prize of roughly half of the total auction funds from the 8 horses. The exact amount will be announced just before the race starts.  Who will kick off each of the auctions ?!!

Sponsorhips of Runners and Races are now available!

You can sponsor and name a horse or a race.  Personalised names will be displayed in the video and called out by the talking parrot. Please feel free to use amusing names - or rude ones if you wish!
Runner sponsorships are just £5 and the sponsor of the winning horse in each race will get a £10 prize. Businesses can sponsor a race and have the names displayed in the video and called out. There's no prizes for race sponsors but you'll win the goodwill of everyone in the audience! Sponsorship sales will finish on 30th January  or before if they sell out quickly.  Hurry to be sure you get one.
