Legasee provides students, teachers and military enthusiasts with unique access to a hi-definition video archive of interviews with Veterans of military conflict from 1939 to the present day. Our ambition is to capture as many of these personal recollections, so that their legacy of bravery, sacrifice and suffering can live on. . . . Legasee is an independent charity. Our funding comes entirely through private donations and the creation of innovative educational projects, often created in partnership with other charitable organisations. Our commitment is that future generations can learn about our military history through the personal recollections of the men and women who witnessed it first hand. Our constitution is ‘to advance the education of the public in the subject and effects of military activity and to promote the conservation of records of veterans personal experiences and comment for future benefit’. We aim to be accountable for the funds we use, cost-effective in carrying out our purpose, caring, respectful and professional in the way we work and transparent in all our activities. Legasee Educational Trust became a charity on January 10th, 2012. Our registered number is 1145354.
