The Kawaski Fund aims to raise awareness in this heart disease that now transpires to be the main cause of death in children and later life for those missing out on treatment during early stages of the syndrome. Still with little research KD remains unknown to many GP's. As a mother of a treated KD child having survived the acute phase 22 years ago my Charity hopes to raise funds to help prevent others suffering. 6 classic symptoms; Persistant Fever, Angry rash, infected mouth /eye, loss of appetite, Irritablity,Peeling of the Skin.
