The Royal Free Charity puts patients at the heart of all we do, providing the little touches & big differences. Whether it is massage therapy for cancer patients, support for dementia patients, companion visits or research funding for future treatments we are here to help. The Royal Free Charity, and its sister charities Barnet Hospital Charity and Chase Farm Charity, spend over £7million each year making a difference to the lives of Royal Free London patients. We are the patient’s friend providing the little touches & big differences bringing together the personal touch of massage therapy, companionship, volunteers, library services, hairdressers as well as funding research projects helping find the treatments for the future and earlier diagnosis. As a specialist hospital for many conditions some rare and some more common such as Haemophilia, Scleroderma, Neuroendocrine Tumours, Amyloidosis and transplantation we have many lifetime patients who come to recognise us as friends who help their visits. They also recognise our investment in research helping to provide earlier diagnosis and advanced treatments in all these areas and additionally Breast and Pancreatic cancer. Fundraisers for the Royal Free Charity take on a wide range of activities and challenges and together help us make a difference to those who are vulnerable, when they need it most. All fundraising activities support patients where it is most needed or specific areas if requested.
