Since 2005 we have rebuilt and funded a nursery school in the Gambia where over 450 children are registered. We send the teachers wages monthly. We found the school in 2004 and eventually rebuilt it adding toilets, kitchen and water. Over 450 children are now registered. We send £300 each month to pay the teacher's wages. There are no state nursery schools in Gambia and all children must attend one before moving on to a primary school.
